Industrial Project
Lyndon REadiness Center
The Vermont Army National Guard is building a new 28,800-square-foot Regional Readiness Center on a 36-acre site near the Vermont State University Lyndon campus in Lyndonville, scheduled for completion in January 2027. This facility, which replaces older, scattered locations, will support the 172nd Cavalry (Mountain) unit and enhance regional emergency response capabilities. @ VDigger +3 Key Details of the Lyndon Readiness Center:
- Purpose: To serve as a consolidated training and operational center for Vermont
- National Guard units.
- Location: Adjacent to the Lyndon campus on Lower Campus Drive.
- Infrastructure: A 28,800 sq ft main building and a 5,000 sq ft vehicle storage
- structure.
- Key Personnel: Project involves collaborations between the Guard, Vermont State
- University, and SAS Architects.
- Projected Benefits: Enhanced training efficiency, closer ties to the university, and
- improved, modernized facilities for soldier support, says Col. Jacob Roy.
